jack schneider – Managing partner

Jack Schneider is the Managing Partner of Colden Capital Advisers LLC. With extensive leadership experience, Jack excels at business development, investor relations, capital raising, strategic planning, relationship management, team engagement, portfolio management, risk management and project management. He has founded two successful companies and now provides consulting services to alternative investment firms. His background includes building two hedge funds, where he went beyond his role as Portfolio Manager to become a business leader who focuses on hiring, training, retaining and motivating people in a positive culture of individual opportunity and collegial teamwork. He has a track record of persistently producing results, innovating, executing, leading and bringing out the best performance in the finest team.

Prior to founding Colden Capital Advisers, Jack was the CEO of Swakker LLC, an iOS app developer. He led Swakker for over five years before selling it to a competitor. Prior to founding Swakker, he was a hedge fund manager specializing in merger arbitrage and event-driven investments. He was the Managing Partner of Colden Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund based in New York City, which he ran for over eight years. Before founding Colden Capital Management, Jack was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Perry Capital LLC, where he worked for five years and was responsible for $1 billion of the firm’s global portfolio. Jack joined Perry Capital as a Research Analyst after working as a Financial Analyst in the Fixed Income Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and London. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he served in the White House Office of Political Affairs.

Jack received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brown University. He is a Director on the Board of the Chief’s Memorial Campership Fund, where he has served since 1994, including eight years as President.
